4-H Foundation of Alberta

www.4h.ab.ca | Partner Since 2007

4-H Alberta has been a popular youth organization since 1917.  Over the last 100 years, 4-H has quietly evolved into a dynamic program whose projects encompass everything from active living, arts, science and technology, crafts, cooking, agriculture, and so much more!

Today’s exciting 4-H program gives urban and rural youth as well as adults life-long skills such as teamwork, leadership, interpersonal relations, critical thinking, decision making, organization, public speaking, and community service.

We all want what is best for our children but we know that finding the right program fit can be challenging. Healthy, active social programs that boost tactile performance and build up self-confidence while being fun and engaging at the same time can be costly or inconvenient.

This is why 4-H is designed with families in mind.  Parents and children of all ages can participate in age-appropriate meetings and projects as a family.  No more running in two or more directions to accommodate each child’s activities.

Best of all, the program is fun. Getting together with friends and participating in exciting activities is the perfect combination. By following the 4-H motto "Learn to do by Doing", members will not only make lifelong friendships but also take part in activities that meet their interests, increase their knowledge, and develop their life skills.

4-H Alberta is a great place to be!
