Gerry Gionet was born in Carrot River, Saskatchewan to Aboriginal parents. Like his father, he started his career as an iron worker working throughout Western Canada and the United States, then started his own business in 1994 in British Columbia. In 1996, Gerry moved to Fort McMurray and started Aqua Industrial, a 100% owned Aboriginal company. Gerry is now President and Chief Executive Officer and is dedicated to helping youth develop their full potential.
